Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Ridzuan is a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (IBDAAI), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. With 16 years of academic service, he specializes in international, energy, and environmental economics, with strong expertise in time series modelling and sustainable development. Dr. Abdul Rahim has published over 230 scholarly works, including 45 in Web of Science and 93 in Scopus, and has secured more than RM4.4 million (total 55 grants) in national and international research grants. He has served extensively as a journal editor, reviewer, consultant, keynote speaker, and external assessor worldwide. Recognized globally, he holds multiple visiting and adjunct professorships across Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, and beyond. His contributions to research and policy development have earned him numerous awards, including the Scopus Research Star Award 2025 by MOHE and Elsevier.
