Theme: Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Development

The 5th International Conference on Computer, Information Technology and Intelligent Computing (CITIC 2025) will be held on 21-23 July 2025 hybrid mode. This conference is being co-organized by Faculty of Computing & Informatics (FCI) and Faculty of Information Science Technology (FIST), Multimedia University. CITIC 2025 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Frontiers in Computer, Information Technology and Intelligent Computing. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Computer, Information Technology and Intelligent Computing.

Call for Papers

The 5th International Conference on Computer, Information Technology and Intelligent Computing (CITIC 2025) will be held on 21-23 July 2025 hybrid mode. This conference is being co-organized by Faculty of Computing & Informatics (FCI) and Faculty of Information Science Technology (FIST), Multimedia University. CITIC 2025 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Frontiers in Computer, Information Technology and Intelligent Computing. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Computer, Information Technology and Intelligent Computing.

PUBLICATION

    All papers will be published in a Special Volume of the esteemed AIP Conference Proceedings, which is indexed in several leading databases such as Web of Science and Scopus. However, how quickly selected proceedings are available in an abstracting and indexing service is up to the provider; AIP Publishing has no influence on this timeframe. Selected papers will be invited to be extended and submitted to the following participating journals, provided that the extended version contains at least 80% new content:

    When preparing your manuscript (maximum 6 pages) for AIP Conference Proceedings, please abide by the following guidelines (https://pubs.aip.org/aip/acp/pages/preppapers):

  • Do not add page numbers or headers/footers.

  • Do not alter the margins of our templates.

  • Paper size is 8.5 x 11.

  • The paper must include the author name and full affiliation address including country.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Prof. Dr. Teh Ying Wah

Professor
University of Malaya, Malaysia

With over 35 years of experience, Prof. Dr. Teh Ying Wah is a highly accomplished computer scientist and data mining expert. Starting as an entry-level programmer in 1988, he advanced to become a Professor of Data Mining at the University of Malaya. He holds degrees from Oklahoma City University and the University of Malaya, and have published over 90 papers in top-tier journals. His research spans data mining, deep learning, IoT, and more. He has a remarkable H-index and numerous citations in Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases. He has received grants exceeding RM one million and completed commercial projects for Petronas GTD and Air Liquide. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Human-Media Interaction - Frontiers in Psychology and reviewer for several high-quality journals. Additionally, he is an Expert Advisory Panel member for various academic programs and a technical assessor for the Swiss National Science Foundation. His expertise, leadership, and vision make him a highly respected and qualified computer scientist.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heru Agus Santoso

Associate Professor
Dian Nuswantoro University, Indonesia

Heru Agus Santoso is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Centre for Medical Technology Innovation Group at the Faculty of Engineering, Dian Nuswantoro University, Indonesia. He is an active member of IEEE and has cultivated a robust research portfolio. His primary research interests lie in knowledge-based systems, ontologies and information retrieval, with a focus on their applications in healthcare. Currently, his research efforts are cantered on health informatics, particularly in the development of non-invasive tools using sensors and machine learning for public health surveillance. This cutting-edge work aims to improve early detection and monitoring of health conditions, enhancing overall public health outcomes. Heru’s contributions to the field are well-documented, with over 30 research papers indexed by Scopus. In addition to his research, he is committed to mentoring students and young researchers, fostering the next generation of innovators in medical informatics. His interdisciplinary approach bridges engineering and public health, making his research not only technically sound but also socially impactful.

Mr. Advent Phang

Advent Phang is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of HealthMetrics, the award-winning end-to-end corporate healthcare solution. As a technopreneur, he also co-founded InfinitiLab, a technology agency specialising in cloud-based platform development. His passion includes coding, system architecting, and company-building. He also believes that remote work is the future of work. On a personal level, Advent is driven to improve and change the prevailing economic order using emerging technologies. He has extensive experience in the gaming, oil & gas, travel and insurance industries. His previous accolades include emerging as world champion at the prestigious global AngelHack competition in San Francisco in 2015.

Dr. Md Alamgir Hossain

Dr. Md Alamgir Hossain, a Senior Research Fellow at Griffith University, has significantly contributed to renewable energy and power systems. He established Australia's pioneering hydrogen DC microgrid lab at Griffith University. Previously, he was a Postdoc Research Associate at UNSW, developing machine learning models for renewable energy, and an Assistant Professor at DUET, Bangladesh. Dr. Hossain holds a PhD and a Master of Engineering from UNSW, specializing in renewable energy systems. He has published over 110 research papers, received $1.6 million in research funding, and has an H-index of 31. His work on greenhouse gas emissions has influenced policy, and he has received numerous awards, including the IEEE Senior Member rank in 2023.

Mr. Md Ismail Hossen

Mr Md Ismail Hossen is a PhD candidate at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Griffith University, Australia. His research focuses on deep learning-based plant recognition, particularly addressing data scarcity challenges in few-shot learning. He has over four years of teaching experience as a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). Prior to his PhD, he earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Multimedia University, Malaysia, where he was actively involved in research on smart parking and machine learning. His research interests include machine learning, transfer learning, few-shot learning and computer vision.
