DIFCON 2025 is a premier event featuring six co-located conferences. ICCM 2025 is mainly organised by the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) and the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) at Multimedia University, Malaysia with the partnership from various co-organisers. This year, it will be held alongside iNVENTX , an annual international innovation exhibition. Aligned with the 2030 SDGs, the congress will be conducted in hybrid mode, offering participants the flexibility to join either on-site or virtually. This Year, there will be the iNVENTX 2025 Creative Exhibition, themed as “Sustainaissance: Emotion . Expression . Identity”. Don't miss this international exhibition for new media artists to showcase and publish their creative works. Open to both national and international participants, the exhibition will be held at Multimedia University E-Gallery, Faculty of Creative Multimedia. Selected and curated works will be publicly exhibited.
All accepted and presented papers will be published as book chapters in Contributions to Management Science or Studies in Systems, Decision & Control by Springer Nature. Both books have been indexed by Scopus to date. Please prepare your paper using the attached template (maximum 10 pages). Selected papers will be invited to extend and submit to the following participating journals, provided that the extended version contains at least 80% new content. For any journal to accept the papers are subjected to meet the individual journal's requirements such as the review or evaluation process and editorial board decision.

Dr. Donna Cleveland is an interdisciplinary researcher, educator, and creative technologist specializing in Material Futures, sustainable fashion, and regenerative design. As Interim Dean of the School of Communication & Design at RMIT Vietnam, she leads initiatives that explore circular design, speculative making, and the role of creative technology in sustainable futures. Her research examines how material innovation, bio-based textiles, and localized production models can drive sustainability within the creative industries. Through projects such as the Vietnam Design Research Studio (VDRS) and the Material Futures initiative, she has worked extensively on biomaterials, circular economies, and new material applications for fashion and design. Donna has secured multiple international research grants supporting regenerative design, sustainable textiles, and craft knowledge preservation, and she presents her work globally on how creative practice can respond to the planetary polycrisis. Her approach bridges hands-on experimentation, digital fabrication, and interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring that creative practice is not only responsive but also regenerative.
We are living in an era of polycrisis, where climate change, material scarcity, and unsustainable production systems are reshaping our world. The creative industries, especially fashion, textiles, and material innovation, must move beyond sustainability toward regeneration, resilience, and systemic change. How can we rethink the materials we use, the ways we create, and the systems that govern production to work in harmony with the planet rather than against it? This keynote explores Material Futures as a lens for planetary-conscious design, where emerging biomaterials, circular systems, and speculative making offer new pathways for the fashion and creative industries. Drawing from research in the Vietnam Design Research Studio (VDRS) and Material Futures projects, this talk will showcase bio-based textiles, digital fabrication, and localized production as tools for transforming creative practice. Rather than simply mitigating harm, how can we design with planetary intelligence, understanding the interconnected systems of people, materials, and the environment? Through case studies in regenerative materials, circular economies, and collaborative design, this keynote challenges creative practitioners to reimagine their role as co-creators within a living, evolving world, where design is not just about solving problems but about shaping new futures.
