Dr YoungJoo Ko have been serving as a president of Asian Society for Innovation and Policy. He is also a principle researcher in Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology and a member of Presidential Council of National IP. While keeping those positions, Dr YoungJoo Ko had worked for regional innovation for the last three years as the first president of Daejeon Institute of S&T for Enterprise and People in Korea.
Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Khairul bin Ahmad is a Professor in Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is also Director of Institute of Integrated Engineering (IIE) at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Prof. Ts. Dr Mohd Khairul’s research focuses on nanostructures oxide materials such TiO2 and ZnO. He is also interested in oxide material based thermoelectric, Dye-sensitized solar cell, wastewater treatment and mechanoluminescene materials. Prof. Ts. Dr Mohd Khairul received his first degree from Gunma University in 2003, where he studied Electronics Engineering. In 2009, he continued his Master degree at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam in Electrical Engineering. Then, he received his Doctor of Engineering from Shizuoka University, Japan in 2012. Prof Dr. Mohd Khairul has published 161 papers in WOS indexed journal with 1492 of citations.
Prof. Dr. Sakiru Adebola Solarin read for his Ph.D. in Universiti Utara Malaysia. He is currently affiliated with Multimedia University Malaysia. Prior to joining the Multimedia University, he was an Associate Professor and Exam Officer at the School of Economics, University of Nottingham, Malaysia. He was the Chairperson of Centre for Globalisation and Sustainability Research (GCSR) for several years. He has written several journal papers on numerous areas of Economics including environmental economics and has participated in many national and international conferences.
Mr Magid Metwaly is a Visual Effects ("VFX") Supervisor and Creative Director who has worked in the industry for about ten years. He owns Visual Heights, a creative production studio specializing in VFX, Animation, Motion, and Direction. Mr Magid Metwaly has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video studies from Hunter College. His technical expertise in computer graphics, honed through years of creating realistic and accurate 3D models and animations, has provided the experience necessary to understand and execute complex visual projects. He has overseen many productions involving animations, film, and Computer Generated ("CG") simulations. His job is to fully understand the VFX, Animation, and the 3D/CG pipeline.
Associate Professor Dr Zuwairie Ibrahim graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with B.Eng in Electrical Engineering in 2000 and MSc by research in Image Processing in 2002. He received his PhD in DNA Computing from Meiji University, Japan, in 2006. He is currently with the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. He is one of the innovators who developed new estimation-based optimisation algorithms namely Simulated Kalman Filter Algorithm and Finite Impulse Response Optimiser. To date he has published over 130 conference papers and over 100 journal papers.
Dima Jamali is currently serving as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Canadian University in Dubai, UAE. She also served as Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah, UAE, from August 2020 to August 2023. She has been highlighted by Forbes and Insights Success Magazine as one of the most admired women in the educational sector in 2023. She has an amazing academic career, having been in academia for over 20 years, primarily at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where she served as Tenured Professor and Associate Dean for the Olayan School of Business (OSB) and Director for Strategic Partnerships for the University. She made her way fast track through the ranks to Full Professor in 2010 and Endowed Chair in Responsible Leadership in 2014. She has won a number of prestigious awards including the 2016 National Council for Scientific Research Excellence Award for Lebanon, and the 2015 Aspen Institute Faculty Pioneer Award, dubbed by the Financial Times as “the Oscars of the Business School World”. She was ranked among the top 2% most influential global scholars by Stanford University in the field of sustainability for two years in a row (2020 and 2021) and ranked 30 among the top 100 scientists in the UAE in 2022 and 2nd in the Business and Management field. Starting in 2015, she has founded and served as President and National Representative for the UN Global Compact Network Lebanon (GCNL), a network of businesses committed to advancing Sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Lebanon. She also worked as an expert consultant for the United Nations on Social Policy and CSR as well as various projects funded by the World Bank, the US Agency for International Development, and major private and public firms across the region. For the past five years, she has been championing the UN Global Compact Network for Lebanon and working with leading firms from the private sector to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UN 2030 agenda in Lebanon through practical national social, humanitarian, and environmental projects.
