International Conference On Law And Digitalisationn
The Faculty of Law (FOL), Multimedia University will hold the 3rd International Conference on Law and Digitalization 2023 (ICLD23) on 26-28 July 2023 (Virtual Conference). ICLD23 will be part of the bigger Digital Future Congress (DIFCON 2023) comprising of various other conferences of multidisciplinary academic interests. The aim of ICLD23 is to provide a platform for both local and international academics, practitioners, policymakers, researchers and students to meet, share ideas and knowledge in law and digitalization through paper presentation. It also aims to encourage academic linkages between the academicians and the researchers from the legal fraternity. It also promotes future co-operations among the intellectuals from various fields and disciplines.
All accepted papers will be published in indexed journals (subject to meeting individual journals requirement) or proceedings (by Atlantis Press Proceedings, indexing status: https://www.atlantis-press.com/proceedings).
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 page(s) manuscript is to be prepared according to the following template.

Professor Dr. Nuraisyah Chua Abdullah obtained her Ph.D., Master’s Degree in Comparative Laws (MCL) and a degree in LL.B (Hons.) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She is now a Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law UiTM Shah Alam. A prolific consultant, a researcher, writer and lecturer, Nuraisyah is the author more than 15 law books (sole writer) published by local and international publishers since 2000. Among her books are Family Law for Non-Muslims in Malaysia in 2006 published by the International Law Book Services; Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act 1976: Commentary and Cases (Sweet and Maxwell, 2013, and 2nd edition in 2018) including practitioners’ Guide, Legal Research Methodology, Sweet and Maxwell, 2018 and the Divorce and Matrimonial Proceedings Rules 1980 & Married Women and Children (Enforcement of Maintenance) Act 1968: Commentaries & Cases, Sweet and Maxwell (2020). She is also an active researcher and is granted many national and private research grants covering the various areas of hospitality and tourism laws, consumer and commercial laws and has written various modules for courses apart from being a trainer herself. She is an active consultant for various government agencies and among others, she is also one of the consultants heading the vulnerable segment in the formation of the National Human Rights Action Plan Malaysia and one of the Writers of Handbook On Asean Good Regulatory Practice For Asean Member States, appointed by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia in 2022.
Adila graduated with Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in 2013. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in August 2014 after completed her pupillage at Shahrizat Rashid & Lee in June 2014. In 2017, Adila pursued her study on a part-time basis and graduated with Master of Laws (Corporate Law) (LL.M) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in 2018. Currently she is a senior associate at Mohamed Ridza & Co. Adila has been involved in a wide spectrum of corporate advisory work which includes acquisition and disposal of shares of private and public companies, drafting and reviewing transaction documents in relation to various types of corporate exercises, real estate investment trust area (REITs) and conducting several due diligence exercises mainly on acquisition of shares, properties, circular and submission documents to the regulators. Adila also involved in several cross-border transactions for government-linked companies and public listed companies, assisted and participated in the process of reviewing and formulating the securities laws and has experience in general conveyancing matters. Adila is one of the contributors for the Annotated Malaysian Companies Act 2016 (1st Edition) published by Sweet & Maxwell in 2017. In December 2020, Adila has been appointed by the law faculty of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) to review the curriculum for Corporate Law & Practice subject.
