ABOUT

The 4th International Conference on Communication, Language, Education and Social Sciences (CLESS 2023) will be held on 26-28 July 2023. This year’s conference will be a part of the bigger Digital Future Congress (DIFCON) comprising of various other conferences in different fields and will be held online. CLESS 2023 is unique in which it combines communication, language, education, and social science in an international academic conference. The aim of CLESS 2023 is to offer a platform for both local and international academics, educators, researchers and other professionals to meet, share and discuss latest research, trends, ideas and innovation in the field of communication, language, education, psychology and social sciences. The conference is aimed to provide a platform for young researchers as well as to support and encourage other researchers to present their research, to network within the international community of researchers and to share and seek the insight and advice of successful senior researchers all over the world during the conference.

PUBLICATION

    All accepted papers will be published in indexed journals (subject to meeting individual journals requirement) or proceedings (by Atlantis Press Proceedings, indexing status: https://www.atlantis-press.com/proceedings).


    All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 page(s) manuscript is to be prepared according to the following template.

Prof. Dr. Jörg Matthes

University of Vienna

Jörg Matthes (PhD, University of Zurich) is Professor of Communication Science at the Department of Communication, University of Vienna, Austria, where he directs the Advertising and Media Psychology Research Group (AdMe). His research focuses on digital media effects, advertising and consumer research, sustainability communication, children & media, terrorism and populism as well as empirical methods. He has published more than 200 journal articles and his research activities received numerous awards and honors from across the globe.

Noreen Sabrina Mohd Noor

She currently holds the position of Group Head, Corporate Communications & Branding at EDOTCO Group, where she spearheads initiatives that shape the company's brand reputation, drive strategic rebranding, promote sustainability, and foster community partnerships in Malaysia and across Asia. Her transformative leadership has elevated EDOTCO's brand value, earning its recognition as one of Malaysia's three ASEAN unicorns. Before joining EDOTCO, Noreen held key roles at reputable organisations such as HSBC Global Resourcing, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB), and the Minister's Office of the Ministry of Communications & Multimedia Malaysia. Her vast experience and expertise have been honed through a remarkable academic journey, earning a double major in Media Innovation and Management from Multimedia University and an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, all while raising three children and maintaining a demanding full-time career. Noreen's commitment to lifelong learning drives her to constantly seek new ideas and challenges to remain at the forefront of her field. Her expertise in integrated brand and strategic communications has earned her prestigious gold awards for her campaigns, locally and regionally. She also contributes to the industry as a member of the Advisory Council Board at a Malaysian university and as a regular assessor in the APPIES Awards panel, where she shapes industry standards and recognises excellence.
